RAMESHWARAM- TEMPLE
RAMESHARAM TEMPLE IS A HINDU TEMPLE DEDICATION TO THE HINDU GOD SHIVA LOCATED ON RAMESWARAM ISLAND IN THE STATE OF TAMIL NADU. IT IS ONE OF THE 275 PAADAL PETRA STHALAMS, THE TEMPLE WAS EXPANDED DURING THE 12th CENTURY BY THE PANDYA DYNASTY.

BY AIR:- Rameshwaram does not have its own airport. Rameshwaram via flight, you have to land at the madurai airport, IS the fourth busiest airport in tamil nadu after chennai, coimbator.
BY ROAD:- TAKE the chennai-villupuram-trichy-madurai-rameshwaram route. whyich is about 160 kilometer away from chennai. from villupuram, continue on NH45 to reach trich.
AGNI- THEERTHAMAGNI TIRTHAM is one of the tirthas of rameswaram, tamil nadu, INDIA. BEACH east of ramanathaswamy temple is know by this name. tirtham is one of the most visited tirthams of rameswaram for a holy bath.
RAMAR-PADAM is a historical significate place where lord rama and his army were resting and planning their jorney to sri lanka. lord hanuman took a long leap to - wards sri lanka from from this hill in search of goddess sita. AT this temple , lord rama's feet are imprinted on tum at the premises of the temple.

PAMBHAN BRIDGE romanised pamban) is a railway bridge that connects the town of mandapam in mainland india with rameswaram on PAMBAN island.THE rail bridge is, for the most part, a conventional bridge resting on concrete piers but has a double-leaf bascule section midway, which can be raised to let ships and barges pass through.
