                    HEMKUND SAHIBGURU
GURUDWARA HEMKUND SAHIB IS A SIKH PLACE OF WORSHIP ( GURDWARA) AND PILGRIMAGE SITE IN CHAMOLI DISTRICT, UTTARAkHAND, INDIA.IT IS DEVOTED TO GURU GOBIND SING( 1666- 1708), THE TENTH SIKH GURU, AND FINDS MENTION IN DASAM GRANTH. THE MAIN TOWN NEAR GOBINDGHAT IS JOSHIMATH.


                                                                                 INTRODUCTION

THIS IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION OF HEMKUND SAHIB TO VISIT TWO MOST VISITING PLACES IN HEMKUND SAHIB( VALLY OF FLOWERS NATIONAL PARK) ,( BHEEM PUL) , (SARASWATI RIVER).

BY ROAD:- IF YOU PREFECT TO TRAVEL BY ROAD, YOU CAN TAKE A BUS OR HIRE A TAXI FROM MAJOR CITIES LIKE (DEHRADUN) , ( HARIDWAR) , ( RISHIKESH) OR DELHI TO REACH THE TRACK'S STARTING POINT AT GOVINDGHAT.

BY TRAIN:- THE NEAREST RAILWAY STATION TO HEMKUND SAHIB IS RESHIKESH RAILWAY STATION, WHICH IS APPROXIMATELY 286KM AWAY. YOU CAN TAKE A TRAIN TO RISHIKESH FROM ANY MAJOR IN INDIA AND THEN TAKE A TAXI OR BUS TO REACH THE TRACK'S STARTING POINT.

BY AIR:- THE NEAREAST AIRPORT TO HEMKUND SAHIB IS THE JOLLY GRANT AIRPORT IN DEHRADUN. WHICH IS LOCATIED ABOUT 196 KM FROM THE STARTING POINT OF THE TREK.

VALLEY OF FLOWERS NATIONAL PARK

VALLEY OF FLOWER NATIONAL PARK IS AN INDIAN NATIONAL PARK WHICH WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1982. IT IS LOCATED IN CHAMOLI IN THE STATE OF UTTARAKHAND AND IS KNOWN FOR ITS MEADOWS OF ENDEMIC ALPINE FLOWERS AND THE VARITY OF FLORA. THIS RICHLY DIVERSE AREA IS ALSO HOME TO RARE AND ENDANGERED ANIMAL, INCLUDING THE ASIATIC BLACK BEAR, SNOW LEOPARD, MUSK DEER. ( valley of flowers k BAGICHA M JO MEHAK AATI  H VO KHI NHI AATI)

                              BHEEM - PUL

BHEEM PUL IS A NATUNAL STONE BRIDGE THAT IS LOCATED IN  A VILLAG CALLED MANA. THAT IS NEAREST SITE IN INDIA OF THE INDO- TIBET BORDER AND IS DESIGNATED AS THE  TORISM  VILLAG OF UTTRAKHAND. IT IS JUST 3-4 KMs  AWAY FROM THE BADRINATH TEMPLE AND IS ALSO  THE MEATING POINT OF THE SARASWATHI AND ALAKNANDA RIVERS. BUT DRAUPADI, THE WIFE OF THE PANDAVAS WAS, FINDING IT DIFFICULT TO CROSS THE SARASWATHI RIVER.

                                    SARASWATI RIVER
 THE SARASWATI RIVER IS A  DEIFIED MYTHOLOGICAL, RIVER FIRST MENTION IN THE RIGVEDA AND LAST IN VEDIC AND POST-- VEDIC TEXTS.  IT PLAYERD AN IMPORTENT ROLE IN  THE VEDIC RELIGION APPEARING,  IN ALL ABOUT THE FOURTH BOOK OF THE RIGVEDA.
